The "Ulpan Kibbutz" program offers intensive Hebrew language learning alongside working and living in a kibbutz.

The" Ulpan Kibbutz" program is aimed at Hebrew immersion for young people.

A modern kibbutz is a small community where residents organize their lives based on principles of shared ownership, equality, cooperation in all areas of production and consumption, and assisting newcomers in integrating into Israeli life.

The "Ulpan Kibbutz" program offers intensive Hebrew language learning combined with mandatory work in the kibbutz. Participants work on kibbutz enterprises, farms, dining halls, daycare centers, kindergartens, or wherever the kibbutz needs assistance at the time. They study for up to 24 hours a week and work for approximately the same amount of time.

  • Participants aged 18-30, eligible for aliyah to Israel.

  • Single participants or married couples without children.

  • Participants must sign a health declaration upon admission to the program.

  • Intensive Hebrew language learning for five months, from 18 to 24 hours per week. The ulpan level ensures sufficient language proficiency for successful professional and social integration. Before the course begins, students are placed in groups based on the results of a placement test, and the language is taught in a differentiated manner.

  • Familiarity with the country, its customs, Israeli culture, and society.

  • Individual consultations on education and employment in Israel.

  • Consultations from the Student Authority.

Participants live and work among Israelis and can practice the language from the first day of the program. The combination of intensive ulpan study and daily use of the language accelerates the learning process, enabling freedom of communication in Hebrew within the first months in the country.

Special informational days are held for program participants, during which representatives from the Jewish Agency, the Ministry of Absorption, the Employment Service, and the Student Authority provide information about further educational and work opportunities in Israel. Individual consultations on employment and education are also provided.

All participants of the Ulpan Kibbutz programs must register with the Clalit Health Fund.

Typically, program graduates develop friendships with peers from other countries and kibbutz members, and the kibbutz becomes a personal landmark on their map of Israel.

Young people live in the kibbutz, 2-4 people per room, with access to all communal and other kibbutz services.

Benefits:

Subsidised accommodation in a unique, new, and high-quality campus that caters to the needs of young immigrants, full support and services from the kibbutz including meals, laundry, and access to all kibbutz facilities (swimming pool, gym, club, etc.)
