TAKA is a 10-month program that supports young immigrants in their academic, personal, and social development.

The program includes 5 months of intensive Hebrew (Ulpan) courses and 5 months of pre-academic preparation, covering exam training, academic reading and writing, and professional guidance. Participants also take part in social and cultural activities, build leadership and life skills, and have the option of subsidized housing. All activities are guided by a dedicated professional and social team, helping participants integrate successfully into Israeli society.

TAKA offers participants the option of subsidized housing at the absorption center. Participants live 2–3 people per apartment, in two-room or one-and-a-half-room units, each with a separate kitchen and bathroom. This provides a safe, supportive, and convenient environment, helping young immigrants focus on their studies, social activities, and integration into Israeli society. Housing is accompanied by guidance and support from the program’s professional and social staff.

As of today, the cost per person is 700 ILS per month for rent plus electricity. Electricity payments are made every two months, and the total amount depends on electricity consumption. A refundable deposit of 300 ILS per person is required upon move-in and will be returned at move-out, provided the apartment is left clean.

• New immigrant (Oleh Hadash) or eligible immigrant status

•To participate in the second part of the program, applicants are required to pass an entrance exam in Hebrew proficiency.
