Ach Gadol for Lone Soldiers
Ach Gadol is an Israeli nonprofit organization supporting lone soldiers through personal mentorship, emotional support, and a wide range of social, logistical, and financial assistance.
βAch Gadolβ is the only organization in Israel that supports more than 1,700 lone soldiers through volunteers who were also lone soldiers. As part of the personal mentorship program, each soldier is matched with a βBig Brotherβ who accompanies them before, during, and after their military service, helping with any need and being there for them through both the good and difficult moments with personal, relatable support.
In addition, the organization provides a broad support network including logistical, social, and financial assistance: helping soldiers exercise their rights and navigate communication with the military and government authorities, accompanying them to ceremonies and travels, donating equipment and computers, organizing social events, providing emotional and therapeutic support, offering dedicated medical services, as well as financial aid, gift packages and vouchers, holiday hosting, and funding special needs for both soldiers and reservists.
