MKS Instruments is seeking a Thin Film Coating Engineer to join the Coating Engineering team at Ophir Jerusalem. In this role, you will work closely with the Components Engineering department to define, execute, and maintain advanced thin film coating processes used in high-precision optical products.
You will report directly to the Coating Engineering Team Leader and play a key role in ensuring coating performance, quality, and continuous process improvement in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define and optimize thin film coating processes
Perform coating failure analysis and root cause investigations
Maintain coating quality levels in production
Write and maintain work instructions and technical documentation
Conduct advanced data analysis to support process improvement
Travel as required
