Your five months at Ulpan Etzion will include:

About the Campus:
Ulpan EtzionβJerusalem is located on the Beit Canada campus in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of southeast Jerusalem.
Nearby is a shopping center, banks and synagogues. Bus lines for easy access to the rest of Jerusalem.
The facilities include:
β’ 24-hour security
β’ Wi-fi internet
β’ Apartments with kitchen, bathroom and air-conditioner
β’ A dining room that provides lunch every day (including Shabbat and Holidays)
β’ A large, well-equipped bomb shelter
β’ Laundry room including dryers
β’ Hebrew classrooms
β’ A synagogue
β’ A fitness center (pool, gym and sport activities) across the street for a special price
Ulpan Etzion is open to new immigrants aged 22-35, who are college or university graduates and have been accepted after an interview.
While attending Ulpan Etzion, you may either live on campus, or rent an apartment elsewhere,
independently, and come to Ulpan Etzion for studies only. (Students living off-campus may also participate in workshops, lectures, trips, consultations etc.)
On-campus housing consists of studio apartments, with two or three participants per studio. There is also an option for a private apartment for an additional fee. Each apartment includes:
β’ Simple furnishing such as beds, table and chairs, and closets
β’ Kitchenette
β’ A bathroom
β’ Air conditioner
β’ Free wi-fi
β’ Utilities (water and electricity) β free up to a reasonable limit
Ulpan Etzion is greatly subsidized by The Jewish Agency for Israel and the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration. The Hebrew lessons, social and cultural programs, and employment guidance are covered through your benefits as a new immigrant. Therefore, those living off-campus incur no fees.
The cost for those living on campus, for the entire five-month program, is 7,400 NIS. This includes
the accommodations described above, generous subsidies on utilities, and a daily lunch. The cost
is made in three equal payments after you have arrived in Israel and opened a bank account; you
will pay via bank transfer.
Upon arrival you will be required to make a deposit of 500 NIS, which will be refunded upon completion of the program.
