The program will open subject to a minimum of 12 participants.

Pharmacy Technician is an important and in-demand profession within Israel’s healthcare system. A pharmacy technician assists pharmacists in daily operations, patient service processes, inventory management, medication handling, prescription checks, and supporting pharmacy activities.

For new Olim, this program provides an opportunity to acquire a practical and sought-after profession, integrate into the Israeli job market, build professional and economic stability, and become part of Israel’s healthcare system. The program takes place at the Ye’elim Absorption Center in Be’er Sheva and enables participants to undergo a structured absorption process in southern Israel, while connecting them with the needs of the healthcare system and employment market in the Be’er Sheva and southern region.

• Subsidized housing at the Ye’elim Absorption Center in Be’er Sheva

• Hebrew studies (Ulpan) for approximately five months

• Employment-oriented and professional Hebrew – approximately 150 hours

• Professional training in Pharmacy Technician studies

• Training supervised by the Ministry of Health

• Preparation for a written final exam

• Practical internship in a pharmacy – 400 hours

• Personal and group guidance throughout the program

• Assistance with employment placement at Meuhedet Health Services or additional healthcare institutions in the Be’er Sheva and southern region

Throughout the program, participants will live at the Ye’elim Absorption Center in Be’er Sheva, operated by The Jewish Agency for Israel.

Housing conditions:

• Two-room and three-room apartments

• Suitable for families with children and individuals

• Individuals will be placed in a private room within an apartment shared with two or three roommates

Housing costs:

• Two-room apartment — 1,600 NIS per month, excluding usage fees and bills

• Three-room apartment — 1,800 NIS per month, excluding usage fees and bills

• Individual room — 700 NIS per month, excluding bills

Electricity, water, and gas payments are according to actual consumption.
